Glow Up Netflix Cast, Contestants and Judges – Who Will Be the Winner Of Glow Up Season 2

Netflix has acquired the rights to Glow Up, a make-up reality Tv show based in the UK.  While Netflix is not really known for its reality Tv content, it has expanded the genre within its platform immensely over recent years. 

The show originally aired on the BBC Three network in Britain but the streaming service is making it globally available. Contestants will have to complete tasks set by industry professionals and prove their worth in the make-up industry to move forward. 

Each new episode featured a guest star and the contestants had to impress them as well as the judges to get through.  

Glow Up Netflix Release Date:

The first season of the show was released on 6 March 2019 on the BBC Three network.  The second season aired from 14 May 2020 to 2 July 2020. 

The series has already been renewed for a second season and got the green light in May 2020. Netflix picked up the shoe in 2019.

Steph

Steph is a specialist hair and media make-up student living in the UK and studying at University College Birmingham.

This contestant was named editorial student make-up artist of the year a the National Make-Up Awards in 2016.

Nikki

Nikki is perhaps the most popular among these contestants and has amassed a million followers on Instagram. She is a professional make-up artist and has worked in London for a lot of years. 

Brandon

One of 3 male contestants on the show, he is a make-up artist that lives in Blackpool. He is already an established social media influencer with over 136k fans on Instagram following him. He is in his 20s as of 2020.

Leigh

Leigh lives in Manchester, England, and works as a freelance make-up artist and painter. He is 29 years old as of 2020. He shares most of his work on Instagram where has almost a quarter of a million followers.

Mathieu

He has lived in France and Tokyo before he moved to London where he works as a special effects make-up artist. Before settling for a traditional job, he worked as a freelance artist in the London area. 

Belinda

She juggles motherhood with a full-time job and her reality show. Belinda shares her creative make-up looks on her Instagram account, which currently has an impressive 258 thousand followers. 

Her popularity soared after her appearance on the show. 

Ellis

A contestant who has partaken in many make-up competitions before this one, Ellis is based in London. He formerly finished in the top 5 at the NYX Face Awards in 2017 and 2018.

He is known for his transformative make-up and has almost half a million followers on his Insta to boot. He is also his own model like many contestants on the show. 

Dina

Dina works in customer relations and deals with cutting meat in her full-time job but she is passionate about makeup and entered the show as an underdog, she became a favorite by the end of it. 

Like Ellis, she also transforms but into fantasy creatures and characters rather than people. 

Who Will Win The Second Season of Glow Up On Netflix?

Ophelia took the crown after winning a couple of challenges and remaining safe throughout the season. The guest judges on the final day of the show included Anastasia Soare, the Romanian billionaire, and Annalise Fard. 

The winner, Ophelia was touted from the beginning of the show as a major talent and she proved it by winning the competition.
