The newest iteration of the popular kid’s show is coming to screens all over the world as Super Monsters: The New Class. The new 2020 season will continue the show’s concept with a new batch of mischievous ut adorable little monsters. 

The voice cast returns for another stellar performance and the series is sure to be as fun-filled as its predecessors.  

Super Monsters: The New Class Release Date

Super Monsters: The New Class will be released on August 1, 2020, on Netflix. Prior to this, the parent series first premiered on October 13, 2017. The runtime is 22-23 minutes.

Super Monsters: The New Class Cast & Crew

The same proven voice cast returns to the series for its 2020 iteration as per Letsott. Elyse Maloway is Cleo Graves, the mummy who can make sandstorms and tornadoes. 

Drac Shadows the aptly named vampire is voiced by Canadian voice actor Vincent Tong. He was worked in show business for almost 2 decades. Tong is popular for his English dubs on Death Note, Gin Tama, Nana, etc. 

In addition to this, other cartoons he has worked in include Bob the Builder, Iron Man: Armored Adventures, etc. 

Similarly, Frankie Mash, or the adorable little Frankenstein’s monster, is voiced by veteran voice actress Erin Mathews. Her voice work in the Kid vs. Kat and Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures has been highly praised. 

She is one of the cast members with more than a decade’s experience in voice acting. 

One of the most exciting characters, Katya Spelling, the witch who often struggles with casting spells is played by Andrea Libman. She is perhaps the most experienced out of all the cast members and started working in 1991. 

The 36-year old’s performance on shows like Johnny Test, Leo the Lion: King of the Jungle, Dragon Ball, My Little Pony, etc. have made her one of the most popular voice actors in the world. 

Additionally, she has also worked on various live-action projects. She is also an interesting voice-actor who has a Bachelor of Applied Science in Civil Engineering degree from the University of British Columbia

Alessandro Juliani who is perhaps best-known as the English voice of detective L, in the critically acclaimed series Death Note to anime fans. However, one of his biggest projects was on Battlestar Galactica. He started his career back when he was just 11 years old. 

Among the numerous cast members and characters, Ian James Corlett, shines through with his work as Igor, a teacher at Pitchfork Pines Preschool. 

Some other cast members on the show include Nicole Anthony, Diana Kaarina, MacKenzie Ian, James Corlett, Britt McKillip, etc. 

Plot And Premise

The new show’s plot will be similar to its previous iterations and will focus on the mischievous activities that the little monsters take part in at the Pitchfork Pines Preschool. 

They will upgrade to the new Purple Room and will have a more difficult year, but fear not, there is also an increase in the amount of mischief and excitement too. 

Most of the kid monsters have the same cast as the previous versions of the show and they have the adorable quality and the excitement of the original series. 

Like the first series, this show may also follow the monsters on a new adventure each day. The teachers will try their best to contain the chaos and teach them how to be ‘masters’.

While the 2017 premiere season of the show dealt with the basics of being a monster, the pack must adjust to a newer and higher standard. The vampires, witches, and all other sorts of monsters will come together to have a blast and make this fall wonderful for fans of the show.
