What Happened To John F Kennedy Assassination Car Museum?

As the president of the United States, John F Kennedy used to ride in a modified 1961 Lincoln Continental four-door convertible limousine.

Well, it was initially a common car not with customization and changes, it became a car that would not be made until once every 4 years and cost thousands of dollars.

It was the very car in which John F Kennedy was shot and taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

After the incident, the car was not directly kept for preservation but rather given to the latter president Lyndon B. Johnson, because as mentioned it took 4 years to make the car.

Many changes were made and the car was worth half a million dollars when with president Lyndon. Even after that, the car went to president Richard Nixon for the first year of his tenure.

But then, the car retired and it was returned to Ford, and it is still kept at the Henry Ford museum. People visit the car every year on November 22 and put flowers in remembrance of John F Kennedy.
